TRUGlobal Empowers Women and Celebrates International Women’s Day

TRUGlobal, a leading technology solutions provider, proudly celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8th, 2023, by honoring and recognizing the remarkable achievements of women in the tech industry. With a commitment to fostering diversity, equality, and inclusivity, TRUGlobal organized a series of initiatives and events to highlight the contributions and talents of women professionals.

International Women’s Day serves as a global platform to promote gender equality and celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. TRUGlobal seized the opportunity to demonstrate its support for women’s empowerment and bridge the gender gap prevalent in the technology sector.

To commemorate this significant day, TRUGlobal hosted an insightful panel discussion featuring influential personalities in their industries, Vijayasree M.K and RJ Rubina.

Born in B.H.E.L, Hyderabad in 1975, Vijayasree M.K. is the fourth daughter of Smt Sharada K Paled and Sri Karabasappa A Paled. She completed her schooling in St Ann’s High School, B.H.E.L and pursued her B.Tech in Electronics and Communications from P.D.A Engineering college, Gulbarga. Joining the Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sriharikota in 1999, she later enrolled for an M.Tech degree in Digital Signal Processing from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) in 2013. Throughout her career, she has played crucial roles in satellite launches, mission planning, payload operations, and project management, including notable contributions to the Chandrayaan-2 and Megha Tropiques missions. Currently, she is responsible for the Human Rating Certification for the Gaganyaan mission and software elements for URSC.

Rubina is a highly experienced Radio Host, Emcee, Podcaster, and Voice-Over artist with over 20 years in the industry. Known as the queen of radio in Bangalore, she hosts the successful show “Thoda Personal” on 93.5 Red FM for over four years. Her show connects with listeners on an emotional level and showcases her clever wit and subtle sarcasm. RJ Rubina has a strong following and has worked in various media, marketing, consultancy, and event fields. She has won numerous awards, including Best Talk Show Host at the New York Festivals Radio Awards. RJ Rubina’s empathy and ability to connect with listeners have made her show a platform where people feel comfortable sharing their true selves and stories.

The Guest panelists shared their personal experiences, challenges, and successes, inspiring the audience, Women at TRUGlobal, with their stories of resilience and determination. The session aimed to foster a supportive and inclusive environment, encouraging women to pursue their aspirations fearlessly.
