Key Responsibilities

  • Governance & Standardization: Establish governance frameworks covering all models – T&M (effort tracking), Managed Services (SLA/KPI-driven), and Fixed Bid (scope & milestone adherence). Leverage prior Service Delivery/Delivery experience to design governance processes aligned with operational realities.
  • Delivery Excellence: Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery across engagement types: SLA compliance for Managed Services, milestone achievement for Fixed Bid, and productivity in T&M. Apply delivery background to anticipate risks and proactively close execution gaps.
  • Resource Utilization: Optimize staffing across models: maintain high utilization in T&M, align skillsets for SLA-based Managed Services, and control effort overruns in Fixed Bid. Use delivery experience to balance capacity planning with client commitments.
  • Financial & Cost Control: Track and control financials: prevent revenue leakage in T&M, drive cost efficiency in Managed Services, and protect margins in Fixed Bid projects. Draw on prior Service Delivery knowledge to improve profitability and financial governance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as bridge between Delivery Heads, Sales, Finance, and Clients to ensure expectations are met across varied contract structures. Leverage delivery experience to strengthen CXO-level communication and client relationships.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Develop dashboards segmented by project type – utilization & billing (T&M), SLA & uptime (Managed Services), and cost variance/profitability (Fixed Bid). Incorporate delivery insights to ensure metrics are actionable for both operations and strategy.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks per model – overutilization in T&M, SLA penalties in Managed Services, scope creep in Fixed Bid – and put mitigations in place. Use hands-on service delivery knowledge to set up early warning indicators.
  • Capability Building: Train PMs and Delivery Leads on governance differences for each engagement model. Standardize reporting discipline across all. Mentor delivery managers and project managers for stronger governance alignment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (mandatory).
    • MBA or equivalent management qualification (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 15 years in IT Services with at least 8–10 years in Service Delivery/Delivery Management roles.
    • Proven track record in managing governance, delivery, and financial control across multiple models – T&M, Managed Services, and Fixed Bid.
    • Experience leading large, cross-functional delivery organizations in global environments.
