Works with vendors to assist support activities.<\/li>\n<li>Performs troubleshooting as required. As such, leading problem-solving efforts often involve outside vendors and other support personnel and\/or organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Establishes guidelines and methods for the installation and management of the host computer operating systems, SAN\/NAS, backup\/recovery services and other components.<\/li>\n<li>Supports both on-prem AD and Entra (Azure AD) and PKI certificate environments.<\/li>\n<li>Deploys and Manages cloud infrastructure in MS Azure and other public clouds.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical host computer resources.<\/li>\n<li>Enforces established procedures and governance policies to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature, and user abuse.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains procedures, programs and documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications.<\/li>\n<li>Develops tools, procedures, and training\/coaching sessions for Client Support and Applications Development staff to assist with work.<\/li>\n<li>Onboard applications for Single Sign On with Active Directory through SAML\/OIDC<\/li>\n<li>Perform periodic systems and applications high availability and DR capability and test DR functionality.<\/li>\n<li>Stays current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommends ways for Penumbra IT to take advantage of new technology.<\/li>\n<li>Provides after hours on-call support on a rotation schedule with other team members.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to the Company\u2019s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other work-related duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum education and experience: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field with 7+ years of enterprise level systems administration and or engineering experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/li>\n<li>7+ years\u2019 experience supporting Microsoft Technologies (MS Windows Server, ADDS\/AAD, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell, SCOM)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>5+ Years\u2019 experience supporting the following: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MS Azure IaaS\/PaaS<\/li>\n<li>MS Office 365 (Email, SharePoint, MS Teams collaboration and voice)<\/li>\n<li>Cisco UCS\/HPE\/DELL hardware administration<\/li>\n<li>VMware administration, including ESX, SRM and Hyper-V administration<\/li>\n<li>NAS\/SAN administration<\/li>\n<li>Azure cloud systems administration<\/li>\n<li>Basic network administration relative to all technologies above<\/li>\n<li>Enterprise backup and recovery procedures<\/li>\n<li>Good scripting and automation experience with IaC and Configuration management tools such Terraform, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc. is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Azure or AWS certification at a solutions architect level with large deployment and management background is a PLUS<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of TCP\/IP networking and network security tools and practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Responsibilities: Manages the day-to-day operations of the Penumbra infrastructure hardware, software, and cloud computing environment by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair.
